Today is my stop on the tour for this lovely read.
Detangling the plot:

Bobs and Books honest review: Tom and Nerissa are two really lovely characters and I got definite Doc Martin vibes from this read. (In the best possible way.) Both struggle with the past, particularly Tom who is trying to come to terms with his wife's death and keep two children focussed. This isn't afraid to tackle the difficult subject of grief and how differently people react to it. This did take a while to heat up amongst the couple, but the other minor characters and other moments keep you going as gossip is plenty. This is book 2, but works as a standalone. An enjoyable read.
