Detangling the plot:

Especially when it seems the killer has worked out that they’re hot on their heels…
Bobs and Books honest review:
Well it's fair to say that I got definite Agatha Christie vibes on this one. An engagement party in a grand house that no-one has been in for years and a large family who own it. Nancy and Jane get right in on the action from the off and linger around the house in the days following, desperately hunting for clues. This has all the best crime clichés all over it with puns and reference galore. It makes for very fun reading.
Nancy's love life also takes the stage, with a mysteriously dodgy ex that reappears unexpectedly.
This moves at a decent pace, and meeting more characters along the way kept me interested- and more importantly guessing,
I had a theory on this one from the start but was way off the track and very surprised as the truth got revealed.
Full of everything you could want from a cosy crime.
