Well this is a perfect backdrop to a murder! Ravens at the Tower, some tricksy characters and a powerhouse of a detective who I adored from the off. Loved the pacing, the drama, and definitely couldn't guess what was coming next.
The author has clearly done her research of the Tower, despite her modesty in the back pages. This is vivid, atmospheric, and although not directly relevant to the plot, the history adds to the suspense and intrigue.
This author is at the top of her game, well crafted and a joy to read.
