This is the second book in the Halfpenny Lane series, but it is a complete story and can be enjoyed as a standalone.

As a theatre lover and someone who is in plays a lot, this felt like a comforting and familiar setting.
This was a fun read, and I like how the ensemble cast fed in to the overall story.
The drama going on, both on and off the stage made for good reading and I enjoyed how this went. Great characters, and a playful storyline.
I haven't read the first book, but this did work as a standalone for me, and I'm tempted to go back to book1.
