It is my pleasure to be kicking off this blog tour today.
Detangling the plot:
Abi Holland considers herself lucky.
She's happily married, and her oldest daughter, Eva, is all set for a place at a top university.
She just can't help but worry about Beth.
So when foreign exchange student Corinne comes to stay, it's a relief her lonely younger daughter finally has someone to talk to.
It's only when Beth starts to misbehave, that Abi begins to wonder how much they really know about their guest.
Because the Holland family have lots of secrets, and Corinne is quietly listening to them all.
And once they come out, there's no going back...
Bobs and Books honest review:
Ooh this is pacey! The suspense builds from the off and then odd snippets tease you with the climax then you slide back into the main story and watch the drama unfold and the secrets unravel one by one.
This is very clever and twisty and kept me guessing right to the end. No character is particularly likeable or reliable which lead me to suspect anyone and everyone of everything. I can't remember the last time a book really hooked me with it's excellent final few scenes. I could feel my heart thumping in my chest as I turned those pages.
A thrilling read.
