Dear Readers, its my turn to talk about this absolutely gorgeous read.

A story about love, female friendship, heartbreak and learning to forgive.

Aww this one gave me ALL the feels. Anna and Graces relationship was heart warming and adorable from the off, and I fell in love with both of them straight away (even when Grace was a bit grumpy.)
Anna is trying to recover after a break-up and Grace is reminiscing back to the War years with mixed emotions. Grace's nephew Tom who helps Grace is suspicious of Anna's intentions and there's a bit of friction. Grace, wanting them both to be happy, tries to force them to get along.
There are some truly poignant moments and Grace is very worldly wise, with some great stories. Anna lovingly soaks them all up like a sponge and adores it. This is a little bit predictable, but wonderfully so-you won't be disappointed. I love Grace's resilience, Anna's openness as her barriers come down and just how practical Tom is.
Truly scrumptious.

Clare Swatman is an author and journalist. She has had two previous novels published, with her debut, Before You Go, selling in 22 territories around the world. She has also spent 20 years writing for women's magazines in the UK.
Her latest novel, Dear Grace, is inspired by her love of Lowestoft, the town where she spent many happy holidays with her late grandparents.
Clare lives in Hertfordshire in the UK with her husband and two boys. Even the cat is male, which means she's destined to be outnumbered forever.
